1.         SERMON RECAP

(Visit  pmc.org.sg  to listen to the sermon and download a copy of the Powerpoint slides)

Paul's understanding of Life in the Spirit:

a.  "In Christ" - the starting point and foundation of our Spirit life

b.  Conformity ¨C living ¡°according to the Spirit¡± in conduct and attitude

c.  Consummation - the goal of our faith is communion with Christ

Remember: we are deeply loved by God, no matter how tough life might be.  By the Spirit, we can face life's challenges with joy, courage and strength.

2.         LIVE IT OUT

a.  Share in your group - one challenge that you are currently facing at home, work or church.

Consider this verse: Romans 8:6

"For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."

> How can we experience life and peace, despite our challenges?

2.  Consider Romans 8:11

"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."

It is sometimes hard to believe that our weakening human bodies are the dwelling place of God's Spirit.  Yet, this is true.

> Discuss - in what ways does the Spirit "give life" to our "mortal bodies", not just when we die, but also today as we live?

> How can we live out this spiritual reality in the coming week?

Share and pray with one another.
